OUR AKC Purebred Golden Retriever Sires and Dames

Flint is our proven AKC Golden Retriever stud that is the main component of our outstanding breeding program. He has a vibrant, deep red coat color with the dreamiest brown eyes that just pull you right in. He is very energetic with a wonderful and curious disposition. He loves being outside, hunting for gophers, and watching the skies for intruding birds. He adores the other animals on our property and loves to give them a little jump scare through the fence occasionally to keep them on their toes. He is amazing with our small children and continues to be an incredible addition to our breeding program. 

*Flint has completed his OFA Exam for hips with Good results and his OFA Elbow Exam elbows with Normal,  results. He also had his yearly OFA Cardiac Exam with normal results along with his 2025 OFA Eye Exam with normal results. Both of Flint’s parents are CHIC certified as well as one of his great grandparents. (Not all great grandparents were OFA tested as testing has recently become more popular with Breeder’s who now realize the importance of OFA testing and it wasn’t common knowledge or popular in the past). Flint is genetically tested through Embark and is “clear” of all currently testable genetic conditions.*

   Bandit is a Flint and Sage son and a hopeful future addition to our program as a potential stud, pending his OFA results. From the moment you meet him, Bandit has a way of pulling you in with his warm expression and rich red coat that reflects the depth of color we love from both parents. He carries himself with a confident yet gentle presence, pairing Flint’s striking look and self-assured nature with Sage’s soft heart and devotion to her people.

Bandit is incredibly people-oriented and thrives on connection. His Guardian family often describes him as the most loving dog they have ever owned, and it’s easy to see why. He has a calm, intuitive way of engaging with those around him, choosing closeness, affection, and quiet companionship. There is an easy sweetness to him that makes him feel steady and reassuring, the kind of dog that naturally becomes the center of a home without ever demanding it.

Bandit has completed genetic testing through Embark and is clear of all currently testable genetic conditions. As he continues to mature, we look forward to his OFA evaluations and are excited to see how he may contribute to the future of Red Valley Retrievers.

 Lucy is a mama here at Red Valley Retrievers. From the moment she joined her guardian home, it was clear she had inherited all the best qualities of her lineage. She is gentle, intuitive, and deeply bonded to her people. Her personality offers loyal companionship and calm, affectionate nature we’ve come to love. She also is very vocal with her Golden Grumbles and loves to give kisses. Genetically tested through Embark, Lucy is clear of all currently testable genetic conditions and has received normal OFA prelim results for both hips and elbows. She is a carrier for the skin condition Ichthyosis, which means she does not have the condition herself and, when paired with a genetically clear stud (as she always will be), none of her puppies will ever be affected. Beyond her health and structure, Lucy continues to impress us with her dedication and intelligence. She has completed her AKC STAR Puppy Certification and is currently training for her AKC Canine Good Citizen title as she works toward her ultimate goal of becoming a service dog for her Guardian, Cady. Her natural ability to attune to emotional needs and remain steady in new environments makes her an exceptional candidate for this role. 

Wish, the stunning and full of life little lady. This girly always has a "smile" on her face and is always ready for snuggles. They say blondes have more fun, and in her case... it definitely rings true. With her luxurious golden waves and graceful stride, Wish is elegance personified. She is petite, but mighty. She has a pedigree that entails Supreme Grand Champion and Grand Champion titles along with a family tree that originates in the Ukraine/France/Canada/Russia. But don’t let her beauty fool you, she’s spunky, brilliant, and loves a good belly rub. Wish’s maternal instinct and affectionate demeanor make her a natural nurturer, whether it’s her human family or her furry packmates. She’s the perfect balance of sophistication and fun, always ready to steal hearts (and maybe a few snacks!). Wish is genetically tested through Embark and is “clear” of all currently testable genetic conditions and has completed her OFA exams for her hips and elbows with Normal elbows and Excellent hip results. 

 Meadow is a sweet, steady girl with a naturally gentle and affectionate temperament, paired with a fun, playful side that truly comes to life when a ball is involved. She is completely ball obsessed and will happily play fetch for as long as you’re willing, always bringing it back with enthusiasm and ready to go again. She has a calm, easygoing presence in the home, but lights up the moment she knows it’s time to play. She has a beautiful, balanced build and a soft, feminine expression that perfectly reflects her kind personality. Her coat is a rich, dark golden with stunning depth and feathering, giving her that deep, striking color that stands out immediately and is so highly sought after.

Sage is a happy go-lucky girl who loves any animal she comes into contact with. She is small in size at 50 lbs. with an athletic build, a sleek shorter coat in the summer and a plush feathered coat in the winter. Her coat color has a medium-dark red intensity that when paired with Flint, produces varying shades of medium to dark red coated puppies. She is such a sweet Golden who always looks forward to playing fetch as soon as she sees you. After throwing the ball for her, she will bring the ball back and gently drop it at your feet for you to throw for her again. Sage continues to Produce outstanding puppies that have become a favorite and highly sought after pairing with Flint. 

Sage is genetically tested through Embark and is “clear” of all currently testable genetic conditions and has completed her OFA prelims for her hips and elbows with normal results. She has completed her OFA heart and eye exams with normal results as well. 

  Ember is one of our homegrown girls, bred here at Red Valley Retrievers out of Flint and Wish. She is a future mama in our program and a much-loved member of her Guardian family, where she thrives on an active, adventure-filled lifestyle. Ember adores spending her days running, hiking, swimming, and tagging along on as many outings as possible. She has completed genetic testing through Embark and is clear of all currently testable genetic conditions. Ember completed her OFA testing for her heart and eyes and passed with flying colors. We are eagerly awaiting her OFA preliminary results for her Hips/Elbows and are so excited for what the future holds, including the beautiful puppies we hope she will bring to our program. 

Annie is a hopeful future mama in our program, bringing a softer, more openly affectionate energy into the mix. She has a tender, endearing presence and forms close bonds easily with all of our dog pack and her humans. Annie is gentle and loving, often seeking closeness and connection, and has a sweetness that feels effortless and sincere.

She adds warmth and heart to our program, and we look forward to watching her grow and seeing how her affectionate nature may be passed on as she continues to mature. We look forward to her OFA evaluations and are excited to see how she may contribute to the future of our breeding program.

  Savvy is a hopeful future mama in our program and a thoughtfully chosen addition from lines unrelated to our own. She has a grounded, composed presence and carries herself with quiet confidence. Savvy is observant and steady, taking in her surroundings before engaging, and has a naturally intuitive way of connecting with her people. She offers companionship in a calm, reassuring way and has the kind of temperament that feels dependable and balanced.

Savvy brings a sense of stability and intention to our program, and as she continues to mature, we’re excited to see how her thoughtful nature may shape her future role at Red Valley Retrievers.

  Flicker is a hopeful future mama in our program selected for her exceptional intelligence and kind, patient temperament. She is highly perceptive and quick to learn, with a natural awareness that makes her especially trustworthy around her human kids. Flicker is thoughtful and steady, meeting the world with curiosity and calm rather than impulsiveness.

Her ability to balance sharp intelligence with gentleness is something we deeply value, and we’re excited to see how those traits may contribute to the future of Red Valley Retrievers.

 Shadow is the heart behind it all and the reason Red Valley Retrievers exists today. He was the dog who changed everything for our family, showing us what true companionship, loyalty, and unconditional love could look like. His gentle soul and steady presence became the inspiration for creating a program where other families could experience that same extraordinary bond through a Golden Retriever of their own.  When we were told that Shadow had only a few months to live following his cancer diagnosis at 10 years old, he surprised us all by holding on for nearly a full year longer. During that time, he continued to bless our lives with his calm spirit, unwavering patience, and quiet wisdom. He wasn’t just a companion to us, he helped raise every dog in our program… and in many ways, helped raise our children too.  

Although Shadow never fathered puppies himself, his influence lives on in our breeding philosophy and through the legacy of character passed down to Flint. He was kind, intelligent, nurturing, and deeply intuitive. Everything we hope to cultivate in each generation moving forward.

We can never replace him, but we strive to honor him with every puppy we raise. Shadow’s love is still felt in every corner of our home, and we know without a doubt that Heaven gained the very best boy.

 Fiera came into our lives at a time when there was a quiet space we didn’t quite know how to fill. After Shadow, things felt different, and while we never expected another dog to step into that place, Fiera was the first to gently remind us what it felt like to love like that again. She carried a calm, steady presence with a softness that naturally drew people in, and there was something about her that just felt grounding to be around. Fiera wasn’t just part of our program, she was part of our story. She brought a renewed sense of joy and connection into our home and helped shape the direction of what we were building in a way that felt effortless and true to who we are. While her time with us was shorter than we ever would have hoped, the impact she made will always remain. She reminded us that some dogs don’t need a lifetime to leave a lasting mark. We are incredibly grateful for every puppy she gave us and for the families who now get to experience the same beautiful qualities she carried so naturally. They are truly blessed to have a piece of her in their lives. Fiera will always be part of our foundation, and a piece of her will live on in everything we continue to build.
